Meticulously redrawn to retain the original delicate texture and linework, Niki Wildflower was based on a Liberty impression sheet from the 1910s. The crosshatch and silhouette botanicals trailing over a subtly textured ground create an eclectic mix of techniques, reminiscent of etching and engraving.
The Artist’s Home – a reflection on eclecticism and colour, filled with vibrant details to spark inspiration. The designers drew influence from historic creative retreats including Charleston Farmhouse, a romantic countryside escape famed for its hand-painted decorative interiors, as well as Yves Saint Laurent’s idyllic Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech, and Barbara Hepworth’s sculpture studio and gardens on the dramatic Cornish coast
The fabrics are all Lasenby 100% cotton which is of a quality specifically woven for quilters.
