Makes the job of cutting your fabric so much simpler with more control also making it safer because your hands are higher and away from the fabric. The easy to hold handle enables you to have better control of your ruler with little effort just a gentle downward pressure. Cutting your fabric with more control of your ruler means less risk of any slipping with your cutter.
The Gypsy Gripper is designed with two suction cups that attach to any smooth ruler surface. The Gripper ensures that even pressure is applied to the cutting surface so you can relax and rest your hand comfortably over the handle. Since no powerful grip is required, this tool is recommended for anyone with hand issues such as arthritis and carpel tunnel. Your hand is always away from the rotary cutter so your fingers are out of harms way, making this a must have for any new or young quilter! Note: The ruler must be at least 4 inches wide and 12 ½ inches long - with no holes in the area under the suction cup. The rulers can be rectangle, square or triangle shaped.
The Gypsy Gripper has two large round suction cups that have a lock and release lever. Place the Gypsy Gripper onto your ruler with a smooth surface, gently press the ruler down, flip the levers to lock and the Gypsy Gripper is ready to help. It can also be used by only attaching one end to the ruler you want to use. The other end can rest on the table.
If at any time the Gypsy Gripper doesn't seem to be sticking as well as it usually does it might need a bit of a clean which is very easy to do. Just wipe the washable plastic body and suction cups with a clean soft damp cloth.
