Odif OdiCoat Waterproof Glue Gel 246g
We had some great fun with this product. Always use the OdiCoat waterproof gel on the material you are going to use before you start your project. After 3 coats ( when applied correctly ) you have waterproof fabric that is soft and pliable and fully washable - you simply wipe clean or put into the machine. We couldn't believe it either. The fabric is now UV protected as well.
Like any coated fabric remember to use the appropriate size wonder clip for your project to avoid holes in the fabric instead if using pins.
A little goes a long way when applying on to cotton (that is the surface we have used it on) a 250ml jar will cover around 2 metres of fabric and doesn't smell strongly or have lingering odor while drying.
Ideal for so many projects like toiletry bags, purses, umbrellas, tablecloths, place-mats, aprons, table runners, tote bags perfect for indoor or outdoor decorating. You are really only limited by your imagination.
Transparent and odorless, acid-free and solvent-free, Odicoat gives an oilcloth waxed appearance to the fabric while protecting it. Once applied, the fabric can be sewn, cut, hand or machine washed. Dries in 30 minutes to the touch and completely dry within 12 hours. Odicoat is also used as a glue, it allows adhering all fabrics onto all surfaces.

- Waterproofing: Put the fabric on a flat protected surface. Spread on OdiCoat with a flat brush. Allow to dry for 1 hour before spreading 2 other coats for a perfect seal and a lustre/satiny feel. Completely dry after 24 hrs. Once ironed with a parchment paper protection, the fabric may be laundered in warm water.
- Collage and fabric embellishing: Using a flat brush, glue the base surface before putting down the fabric. Cover the fabric to be adhered with one layer of OdiCoat. For optimum protection of your treated objects, put down 2 layers at 1 hour intervals. After drying for 24 hours, the treated object will have a satin aspect and will resist to cleaning and wear. Perfect for indoor and outdoor decorating as well as embellishing of clothing and accessories.
- Clean-Up: Clean the paintbrush with warm water.
